  First MMX Post!
Posted by: hcmbanjo - 06-08-2015, 12:17 AM - Forum: Micro Maxx MMX - Replies (13)

I just wanted to be the first (before the MMX discussion is taken over!) Tongue
I'm also testing out the photo posting.

These three are prepped and ready for the next schoolyard launch.
From top to bottom are the
Fliskits Crayon, Applewhite Bic Pen and the Quest No Mercy.
All three are great MMX performers.

I flew my first CTI Smoky Sam today, that motor was 13yrs old!
I was very pleased with the flight, what a trail of black smoke!

  Gonna be a scale forum??
Posted by: luke strawwalker - 06-07-2015, 07:19 PM - Forum: Forum Help - Replies (4)

Like what I see so far...

Are yall gonna have a scale forum??  When I get back around to posting scale data/pics/information that I've picked up along the way, including NASA and other "study summaries" I'd like to post it here as well as YORF...

Not sure where it would really "fit in" without a scale section though...

Later and best of luck!  OL JR Smile

  Mounting a Sabre personal alarm

Anyone who's used one of these alarms as a rocket screamer?

I'm curious what approach you used to attach the alarm body to your rocket.

We have been increasing our offerings of carbon epoxy tubing suitable for airframes.

Here is an image of one in 12 inch.

They range from 1.125" to 18"++

  U.S. Rockets Sonic 3100
Posted by: Rocketman - 06-07-2015, 11:26 AM - Forum: Sell it - Replies (1)

I have a NIB USR Sonic 3100-54mm kit available.  It is $99 + $12 shipping.  The manufacturer website for this kit is http://v-serv.com/usr/kits/sonic3100.htm

I also have a NIB USR Stiletto, which has not been available for a few years now and was commanding a lot in auctions.  This Stiletto is $139 + $12 shipping.  http://v-serv.com/usr/kits/stiletto.htm

I have several of each and will combine shipping.

Need Help with the MicroMaxx Forum
Posted by: hcmbanjo - 06-07-2015, 10:21 AM - Forum: Forum Help - Replies (7)

I can't post on the MMX Forum area.
I just wanted to be the first before it was taken over.  Tongue
I get the message:
"Sorry, but the forum you are currently viewing does not contain any child forums."

Child forums? I know the MMX rockets are small.
I really wanted to test things and see if I could easily post a picture.
Here goes -

Well, I can't insert a picture without using a URL, you have to attach it outside the copy block.
It'd be easier to drag and drop or inset without going through the extra steps.
I don't store my pictures online but keep them on the hard drive.
Moot point, I'll just deal with it.

Congrats on starting the new forum.

  Two Recovery forums
Posted by: Rich Holmes - 06-07-2015, 08:29 AM - Forum: Forum Help - No Replies

There seem to be two recovery forums, one under "General Discussions" and one under "Techniques and Tips". Seems kind of redundant and also redundant.
