Homemade rocket ideas
#1
Anyone come across the "King of Random" before?  He makes videos on a variety of do-it-yourself projects and has a recent series on several aspects of rocketry.  I've never seen some of these techniques before.  Some I'm not sure are a great idea, but his source of nosecones is clever.

This is cool and all, but I wouldn't use a pvc pipe for a motor case. Just doesn't seem safe to me. But the rest is pretty cool.

I like the way he is reusing everyday items.  I would change the hot glue to epoxy but the rest of his techniques seem sound.  Also liked the comparison of his homemade wadding vs the Estes brand.  Seems compelling and very cost effective.
