Anyway managed to get mine off on Sunday!

Very nice, and Congrats!
Looks like a Black Brandt. What did you fly it on?

Thanks Mark, it is a MadCow BlackBrandt II, very nice kit, I didn't think out motor retention before i started building it. I haven't found any motor retention i like so i just went with a slimline....

I saw some of that in Charlie Savoy's live feeds.
They appeared to be reasonably small LPR or MPR maybe, but still wow.

Cheers for the photo's guys!

Had three flights.

-3" Darkstar (first flight), CTI L265
--Expected: 12,000'
--Result: Lawn Dart. Apogee charge never fired. Recovered 2.5 miles away in the woods bordering a farmers land. Permission was obtained to search the property for the rocket.

-3" Punisher (First flight), CTI J145 Longburn skid
--Expected: ~4000'
--Result: ~3400'. The rail was in rough shape and thus negated some altitude. Fly away guide was also damaged during boost. Perfect first use of my RTx system by MissileWorks.

-4" Frenzy XL (sixth flight, second on this motor), CTI L395 Mellow
--Expected: 11,800' (based on last years flight)
--Result: 12,400'. Perfectly vertical flight and recovery. Had visual from launch to apogee to touchdown. Landed on another landowner's property and brought back to field to be claimed for a small fee..
Side note, RSO was apprehensive to let the Frenzy past his desk due to low Thrust:weight (4.3:1). MDRA staff who had seen the previous flight last year convinced him it was ok.

I have the onboard video from the frenzy somewhere on my laptop. I'll need to find it so I can upload it for your viewing pleasure.
