Although I only heard it once, the low frequency, belly shaking and bowel loosening sound from a big hybrid taking off.

although i picked the roar, i looooove long burn motors.
still remember a j90 in a minimagg. awesome!!!

I mostly do modrocs these days, and most new stuff seems to be HPR. Here's a blast from the past.  My buddies by the rocket in front of the old Estes Industries buildings. Took a tour there in March 1966.  Almost 50 years ago!
