AT EZ news - Bob Jablonski - 06-24-2015

Aerotech just sent a email blast to there dealers stating after LDRS they will be including a  standard delay set with the EZ for the folks who like the standard delay system. And they will be shipping extra reload kits to dealers for what is already in the field.

Yay! Too many good rockets have been ruined by the EZ delay closure, give me the regular delay anytime.

EZ is a nice concept if it worked...but it clearly has problems. Too bad.

Every system I have seen through the years has had teething problems. At LDRS yesterday, I don't think a manufacturer was free of the occasional issue of a cato or early ejection charge. Are the rocket motors perfect? Nope. but it is nice when the manufactures find and correct the problem. Aerotech added the forward seal disk on there reloads for doing the same thing. And they started gluing in the delay so the flame dosn't go around the side of the EZ delay grain and go directly to the ejection charge. CTI, Kosdin, Estes they all have had problems pop up. When you address and correct the issue. Then you stay in Business for a long time.
By the way I am not a AT cheerleader. I use and sell AT CTI, Estes and Quest motors.
