I'm jealous that you can actually fly anything from a local park!

I feel like it's not advisable to have your motor container right next to the pad. Especially considering it's opened, and like 2' away...

I'd give anything to have a "B6-4" field close to home. Our local schoolyard (where my kids flew in the 90s, and this summer my grandkids flew with me for the first time) is just a bit risky on A motors now that the little trees are big ones now. B Motors are definitely out of the question.

I like the launch pad. I've had the drawings for an Estes Tilt-a-Pad for a long time, but the project never makes it very high on my woodworking project list.

You're right.  It never occurred to me until I went back to look at the pics.

I've flown here since 1977.  I make sure not to leave anything behind other than footprints.  And the rockets in the trees, but no one seems to notice those. Big Grin
