This is my way of welcoming myself to the forum.
I am an absolute rocketry NUT and love every aspect of the process I use to turn a pile of parts (wood, paper, fiberglass etc...) into a flying machine that I can recover and fly again.
Full disclosure, I do not enjoy sanding one bit, but I endure it as a necessary evil for my hobby.
I have learned so much from club members and from forum members that has made me what I am today, I am grateful for the friendships I have forged and for the great people whom I have never met.
In the past couple of months I have actually had the opportunity to start paying the sport back by mentoring a group of college students to their L1 certification.  I may have a thread started later this week with the journey and the results (pictures included of course!).
Glad I found the place.
